Son Ye-jin (born Son Eon-jin (손언진) on January 11, 1982 in Daegu, South Korea) is a South Korean actress. After graduating from the Film Art Department, Seoul Institute of the Arts, Son made her debut in the MBC drama Delicious Proposal (Sweet Proposal) in 2001, and also later went on to films.

She is noted for her acting roles in the film The Classic, as well as the 2003 KBS drama Summer Scent, co starring Song Seung-hun and 2006 SBS drama Alone in Love.


 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Son Ye-jin started appearing in commercials since 1999 but made her acting debut in 2001 for MBC drama “Sweet Propose” (also named “Delicious Proposal”) and was named MBC Best New Actress in the same year.

Son Ye-jin starred in a few TV dramas and movies before her breakthrough in 2003, when she starred in the popular TV series “Summer Scent” with Song Seung-hun that made her one of the most popular actress in Korea and around Asia.

It’s also in 2003 when Son Ye-jin starred in “The Classic” alongside Jo In-seung, which was a box office success in Asia as well.

2005 was another great year for Ye-jin, her movie “April Snow” (with Bae Yong-joon) and “A Moment to Remember” (with Jung Woo-song) were both massive hit around Asia.
